Hi! I'm ViK.
Independent Facilitator in Training
they/them
I am a neurodivergent, physically disabled Disability advocate whose first language was empathic energy. I have chosen deep friendships within the Disability Community since I was a young child and strive every day to be the best advocate I can. I am excited to add Independent Facilitator work to my skillsets of support within the Disability Community!
My Story
I have been practicing Reiki and Massage Therapy for over 20 years, as a board certified music therapist since 2010, and have offered AAC supports since 2012. I continue education through attending Slippery Rock University’s Music Therapy Master’s program, attending classes through the Masgutova Institute for MNRI training (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) and Chikly (Health) Institute completing levels one and two of Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. A future goal is to attend an MBA program to expand professionally building business fundamentals, leadership, strategy and conflict resolution. My goal with any modality and technique is to work with the human as a whole to lower anxiety, support brain/body connection awareness for nervous system regulation, and support expressive thought and communication. I presume competence, recognize and honor and promote self-determination for each individual.

I approach my work through a body liberation and weight inclusivity lens, honoring each individual’s identity and lived experience. I bring compassion and understanding to every session, recognizing that trauma is a part of every person’s story and that healing looks different for everyone. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey toward greater balance and self-awareness.

I enjoy taking drives and watching shows with my partner and taking midnight walks with our 3 kitties.
